A2O Search tool now released

Posted on November 28, 2023 by Anthony Truskinger Posted in Uncategorized

In collaboration with Google Research, we have released a new tool: A2O Search.

With A2O Search, you can do a similarity search for any audio clip you upload. We’ll then compare it to data on the A2O and return to you a grid of results.

Check out the blog post from Google researcher Tom Denton for more on how the search tool works.

Happy searching!

Acknowledgement

In keeping with the spirit of Reconciliation, this project would like to acknowledge all the Traditional Owners of land on which the acoustic observatory data is collected, and to pay our respects to their Elders, past present and future.

We also recognise the key role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have always played in protecting and conserving the land and sea.
